We are looking for a tenacious, effective, and creative dreamer! Part of the Writing team, the incumbent is involved in a variety of files. This person is so fluent in the language that they can play with the rules rather than simply enforce them.
The writer highlights the Simons vision and philosophy through various projects. The incumbent creates magic, stories, emotions, and reflections through writing. They break down trends and introduce our customers to fashion.
The writer asks themselves questions all the time for continuous improvement. This person is open to constructive criticism and takes the lead on assigned projects. They share our passion for fashion with customers to give them the confidence and boldness they need to express their creativity.
Responsibilities:
• Write and revise descriptive, precise, and evocative texts for the fashion, home and wellness products of our selection, for different variations.
• Create and revise inspirational, informative, and original content for newsletters, various web platforms and stores, from an advertising slogan to a content-filled blog post to informative text about in-store events, fashion trends, key pieces to buy, or information that is convenient for our customers.
• Write and revise text to optimize the website's search engine optimization (SEO).
• Help develop communication and promotional strategies with the Graphic Design, Online Marketing, Purchasing, and Marketing teams.
Desired Profile:
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing, Communication, Literature, Creative Writing, or any other related field.
• Be fluent in French and have a good understanding of English.
• Be able to adapt the tone and writing style to the different clienteles of our exclusive departments.
• Demonstrate boundless curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and unparalleled rigour in work.
• Nurture a passion for fashion.
• Be able to collect, gather, simplify, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Enjoy teamwork.
• Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and sometimes under tight deadlines.
• Be able to skilfully navigate the various Office Suite software and be comfortable switching from one computer system to another.
