The Director of Global Compensation plays a strategic and essential role in delivering our HR strategic plan to support the growth of La Maison Simons. This individual is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s culture, values, and overall objectives. As a member of the HR leadership team, they work closely with senior management and stakeholders to develop strategic solutions tailored to the company’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and lead a competitive, innovative, and fair total compensation strategy.
  • Ensure alignment between compensation programs, strategic objectives, and organizational culture, in collaboration with their team.
  • Develop and oversee corporate HR policies and practices, particularly those related to compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Analyze market trends and innovations in compensation, make recommendations, and implement improvements for continuous enhancement of programs.
  • Manage, develop, and optimize HR programs and systems to ensure smooth and proactive data management, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external providers to maximize the value and efficiency of offered services and solutions.
  • Ensure the management, monitoring, and adherence to allocated budgets for compensation and benefits programs while meeting the company’s financial and operational objectives.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of significant experience in total compensation and HR systems, preferably in a strategic role within a large organization or the retail industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and influence teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong team management experience, with a leadership style focused on engagement, talent development, and achieving collective goals.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and organizational needs, propose innovative solutions, and take action to address future challenges.
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to ensure effective communication with various stakeholders.
