IT Team Lead – Merchandising

Do you want to join our team and play a key role in optimizing processes related to merchandising and imports?

Become IT Team Lead - Merchandising and help understand the strategic goals of the merchandising and imports departments, implementing solutions that drive excellence, efficiency, and optimized workflows. Reporting to the Director of IT Transformation, you’ll manage application projects, coordinate business analysis, and oversee the development and maintenance of solutions. You’ll lead a team of analysts to meet end-user needs and provide technical support, while ensuring continuous optimization of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the strategic goals of the merchandising and imports departments to implement solutions that optimize excellence, efficiency, and workflows.
• Coordinate the various phases of projects, from design to production, ensuring proper execution.
• Ensure strict monitoring of projects and budgets, meeting deadlines, costs, and priorities.
• Lead the validation and improvement of data quality, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies.
• Plan and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project priorities.
• Promote engagement, problem-solving, and solution implementation while guiding the team to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.

Desired Profile

• Hold a degree in computer science, business administration (with a concentration in information technology, an asset), or a related field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, and application development, including 2 years of team management experience (an asset).
• Have experience with merchandise financial planning systems, assortment planning, forecasting, replenishment, and allocation.
• Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, to use various systems and tools and interact in English.
