Full time

Temporary position for one year at our head office in the heart of Old Quebec.

The office clerk plays a key role in the administrative and operational support of the logistic department, ensuring the smooth running of files, approving bookings with our forwarding agents and updating delivery dates in our systems.

Responsibilities:

Assist the team in their administrative tasks such as :

  • Prepare documents for daily tracking of approved shipments ;
  • Ensure the approval of our sea and air reservations on the platforms of our various forwarding agents according to our needs, and follow up with the people concerned when necessary ;
  • Answering questions from our forwarders ;
  • Provide administrative support when coordinators need  a visibility on the status of an order ;
  • Provide administrative support for special projects ;
  • Any other related task, in administrative support of the teams.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently while being an active member of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with computers (PC environment) and office suite software (word, excel and powerpoint).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in English and French, both spoken and written, in order to do so with all stakeholders.
